Rental cars, jeeps, vans ... are a bargain on Aruba. You can find simple
rentals from $17.50/day to more than $90. It really pays to shop
around. You'll get plenty of literature as you approach the Customs
area, plus most of the rental agencies are located in small offices right
across the street from the main airport terminal. We never set up
before we arrived, and we always received a great deal on a car.
Remember, you're not going to spend all day in the car. Adriana and I
drove all over the island.
Once, just after stopping at the Natural Bridge, which waves have hewn
out of solid rock, we trekked along the north shore. Adriana turned
back and looked and took this photo. The colors in Aruba are amazing!
The contrasts are fantastic. We had a wonderful time listening to the
local music on the radio and riding along, seeing the way nature has
created this beautiful island.
Along the shore near Malmuk is this house. The address is 113 L.G.
Smith Blvd. It's one of the few remaining houses on the ocean for sale
(last time we checked). The asking price is very high, but we fell in
love with it and would someday soon like to begin our Aruba Project from
here. If you know us, you know how much we love to care for the needy
world wide. This would be a headquarters for the Project. Why Aruba?
Why not.
